Florida law changes fast, and careful writers still make mistakes. When a guide is wrong or out of date, we want to know, and we correct it openly.
How to report an error
Email us with:
- The link to the guide
- What you think is wrong or out of date
- The statute section, bill number or official source, if you have one
What happens next
- We check your point against the current Florida Statutes and any source you sent.
- If the guide is wrong, we fix it and add a dated note to its change log.
- If the law changed, we update the guide, its last-checked date and the effective date.
- Spelling and formatting fixes are made without a note.
We aim to review reports within a few business days, and reports about a law that just took effect come first.
What we cannot do
We cannot advise on your own case or review documents in a legal matter. For that, contact a lawyer licensed in Florida.
